City of Piqua Power 2020 Annual Benchmarking ReportThis report is generated annually and made possible through the City of Piqua Power System’s participation in the American Public Power Association (APPA)’s eReliability program. The statistical analysis included in the report is what ultimately led to Piqua Power being awarded the 2020 and Piqua’s 6th consecutive APPA Certificate of Excellence in Reliability. This is also the 6th year of this program whereby APPA recognizes the top performing municipal power systems in the country. 187 municipal electric systems were recognized for their upper quartile reliability performance in 2020.

Also, Piqua Power System works with NextEra to monitor both the Piqua-Staunton and Piqua-Manier Solar Fields. They have provided Piqua with two websites that show the current, real-time electricity generation level at each solar site, as well as conveying the positive impact these carbon-free generating resources have on our environment.
