Senior Citizen Refuse Program
 
This program allows seniors age 60 and above or disabled persons to purchase refuse bags in our office instead of paying the monthly refuse fee.

Rules and Regulations

  • You must purchase city bags in the Utility Business Office
  • All refuse and yard waste must be placed in a yellow city bag (regular bags will not be accepted)
  • You may use up to 6 city bags per week
  • Additional refuse will only be accepted during city wide clean up week
  • A recycling charge will appear on your utility bill each month
  • Anyone not following these rules and regulations will be removed from the senior Citizen Refuse Program and placed on the regular refuse rate
