Query Language

The text search engine allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, and grouped with parentheses. For example:

street project

finds documents containing 'street' or 'project'

street or project

same as above

street and project

finds documents containing both 'street' and 'project'

street not project

finds documents containing 'street' but not 'project'

(street not project) and photo

finds documents containing 'photo', plus 'street' but not 'project'

street*

finds documents containing words starting with 'street'
