Recycling
 |
| |
The City of
Piqua Recycling Program is provided by Rumpke
Recycling. The recycling materials should be
placed in the recycling bins and placed alongside the
regular refuse prior to 6:30 a.m. on your scheduled
refuse collection day.
Anyone wishing to obtain a new bin or to replace their
damaged bin may do so by contacting the City of Piqua
Health Department at (937) 778- 2060 to request the
Rumpke Recycling carrier drop a bin off at your home.
Or, if they choose, they may stop by the Municipal
Government Complex and visit the Health Department where
we keep a supply available for residents.
People may set out more than one bin of recyclable
materials. If they generate an amount of
recyclable materials beyond what two bins may hold, they
may designate a regular refuse receptacle to recyclable
materials. However, it must be visibly labeled so
the drivers of the regular sanitation crews and the
recyclable crews can easily tell the difference between
containers. |
