On Friday, December 7, 2007 at
approximately 0635 hours, Piqua Police Officers responded to a
report of a Breaking and Entering at Paul Sherry
Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep, 8645 North County Road 25A in Piqua.
Initial investigation into the
incident revealed that sometime overnight, entry was gained to
the business. Multiple subjects then entered the maintenance bay
and removed several tools and two diagnostic computers along
with other miscellaneous items to include a portable safe. A
forklift was used to load a large orange, eighteen drawer
mechanics tool box onto a transport vehicle.
Also stolen was a green 2008 Jeep
Liberty and a red 2004 Dodge Ram truck. Both vehicles were
subsequently recovered in the East Dayton area.
Investigation into this offense
is pending and anyone with information is asked to contact Crime
Stoppers at (937) 615-TIPS (8477) or Detective Dave Thomas at
778-2030. Information leading to the arrest of the suspects in
this case will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.00.
