Connect Open House |

The City of Piqua Development
Department is pleased to announce a new business development
program known as Business Connect! The program is
designed to connect business leaders and entrepreneurs with
public agencies available to assist with business development
interests.
The Business Connect! program will deliver a
workshop series in an open house format that will offer business
persons the opportunity to meet with local officials and ask
questions they may have about starting or expanding a business
in Piqua. The next scheduled workshop will focus on
Understanding the Permitting Process. Representatives from the
City's Development, Engineering, and Health Departments, and
Underground Utilities and Power System, will be available to
answer your questions about obtaining permits for your new
business or expansion project. Additionally, representatives
from the Income Tax and Utilities Business Offices will all be
present to share information and respond to questions you may
have about setting up a utility service or income tax filings.
The Understanding the Permitting Process workshop is will
be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 from 7:30AM to 9:00AM at the
Municipal Government Complex, 2nd floor Commission Chambers, 201
W. Water Street, Piqua, Ohio.
