Building Damage from Structure Fire
 
Today at 6:00 a.m., Miami Valley Polishing, LLC, in Piqua, off of Fox Drive, caught fire in the furnace area. Fire crews from Piqua, Troy and Covington battled the fire until about 11:00 a.m. The building is being assessed for structural issues. There were no injuries. Fox Drive has been reopened and all mutual aid has been released. The City of Piqua was manned at the fire house by Fletcher Fire Department and Covington Rescue while it was at the fire. The City of Piqua is very grateful to all mutual aid departments.

Miami Valley Polishing, LLC, has been in business since 2008. The amount of loss has not been determined at this time.
