Miami County Sanitary Engineering
will be having the household hazardous waste drop-off for
residents to properly dispose of their items on Saturday,
September 15, 2012. The cost to residents will be $1 per pound.
Residents are asked to call 440-3488 to register a time between
the hours of 8 a.m. and noon to drop-off their items. The event
will be located at the Miami County Sanitary Engineering
facility at 2200 North County Road 25-A in Troy.
Veolia ES Technical Solutions in
West Carrollton is the contractor selected to properly dispose
of these materials. A partial list of materials that can be
brought includes pesticides, pool chemicals, mercury, gasoline,
kerosene and antifreeze. No smoke detectors or pharmaceuticals
are allowed. Please call if you have any other questions on
