Grow Piqua Now announced its "I
Love Piqua" Video Contest winners at the July 17, 2012
Piqua City Commission Meeting.
Taking first place and a check for $200 was Brad Dotson from
Piqua High School with his entry "I Love Piqua" video.
His video can be found at here.
The entry also earned $150 for the Piqua High School Media
Department.
This year's second place winner of $100 was Riley Branson, also
from the Piqua City School District. Her entry "People
Positively Promoting Piqua" can be found here.
The contest, which was held in
cooperation with the City of Piqua, was open to all full or
part-time college, high school or junior high students from the

video which portrayed the unique quality of life in Piqua, Ohio.
Video entries were encouraged to share what it is like to live, work and
play in the City of Piqua.
"We were very pleased with
the quality of the entries in our first year of the
contest," said Lorna Swisher, Chair of Grow Piqua Now's
Marketing Committee and Executive Director of Mainstreet Piqua.
Adding, "Engaging our young people in promoting our
community is great way for us to share our story."
