Burger King Breaking and Entering
(Media Release Number: 08-001)
 
On Tuesday morning, April 29, 2008 at 4:55 a.m. an employee of the Burger King Restaurant, 1408 Covington Ave., called to report the business was broken into. Subsequent investigation revealed that an intruder had pried open the drive thru window and entered the office area, where he removed a small amount of change. With the cooperation of the nearby Kroger's store, video evidence was obtained that led to the arrest of Joseph W. Schmidt, age 31, 1242 Garbry Rd. Apt. 4, Piqua, OH.
