2008 Arbor Day / Renew Piqua Celebration
 
On Friday, April 25, 2008 at 11:00 am, the City of Piqua Tree Committee will hold its annual Arbor Day celebration. The ceremony will be held at Piqua Junior High School in the east lawn.

The ceremony will include a Tree City USA award presentation and a brief history about Arbor Day.

The ceremony will conclude with a new tree being planted by the City of Piqua Parks Department employees demonstrating the "do's and don'ts" of planting a tree.

After the Arbor Day Celebration, Andy Burner will kickoff the 2008 Renew Piqua program.

All who share the Tree Committee's passion for trees, have an interest in the Renew Piqua program, or would simply like to join in the festivities, are invited to attend the Piqua 2008 Arbor Day/Renew Piqua celebration.
