Grow Piqua Now has announced its 2nd
Annual "I Love Piqua!" video contest.
The contest is begin held in
cooperation with the City of Piqua and is open to all full- or
part-time college, high school or junior high students who live
in or attend school in the 45356 zip code area.
The overall mission of the
contest is to create a video that portrays the unique quality of
life of Piqua, Ohio. Video entries are encouraged to share what
it is like to live, work, and play in the City of Piqua.
The goal of the contest is to
promote the Piqua community and entries are encouraged to be of
an overall positive nature. All video entries become the
property of Grow Piqua Now and are limited to one entry per
person. Judging will again be based on overall effectiveness
(50%), originality (40%) and professionalism (10%).
Cash prizes will be awarded to
the top three winning entries. 1st Place - $200; 2nd Place -
$100 & 3rd Place $50. The winning entry will also win $150
for their school's video/graphic department.
Contest entry forms are available
from the link below. at the City of Piqua, the Piqua Area
Chamber of Commerce, participating schools, and on the Grow
Piqua Now website. Completed entries must be received at
the City's Economic Development Office on the 2nd Floor of the
Municipal Government Complex at 201 West Water Street, Piqua, OH
45356 by 5PM on April 29, 2013.
