The City of Piqua and Piqua
Neighborhood Improvement, Inc. is encouraging all residents,
clubs, civic groups, churches and organization to participate in
The Big Day to be held on Saturday, May 18, 2013. The Big Day is
a continuation of the Annual Pick It Up, Clean It Up Day that
has been held the last two years.
"This activity has grown
each year and has become bigger and bigger," said William
Lutz, Development Program Manager for the City of Piqua.
"We are really pleased that our community comes out in
force to help make our community more pleasing as we move into
Spring. For The Big Day this year, we have many different
groups, such as our neighborhood associations, the Housing
Enhancement League of Piqua and Ginghamsburg Church each made
commitments to undertake projects on May 18th."
Residents and groups are
