Positively Promoting Piqua, the
Piqua City Schools and the City of Piqua will hold a "Piqua
Progress 2013" public meeting on Wednesday, March 13, 2013
in the Grand Ballroom of the Fort Piqua Plaza at 308 N. Main
Street. The doors will open at 4:30 PM and the program
will begin at 5:15 PM. A social time will follow from 6:30
to 7:00 PM.
The purpose of this free event, open to the public, is to update
the Piqua community on encouraging developments in Piqua in both
the public and private sectors, helping make us "A great
community in which to live and work."
The program will include:
Discussions by Positively Promoting Piqua representatives,
updating the community on PPP's mission, projects it has been
working on, and upcoming initiatives and plans.
A presentation by Piqua City Manager Gary Huff, discussing City
initiatives and projects for 2013.
A discussion by Piqua City Schools Superintendent Rick Hanes,
updating the community on the new-school construction plans and
other important developments concerning the schools.
Those attending will be offered the opportunity to pose
questions to the presenters, during the formal presentations and
during a social time immediately following. Light refreshments
will be provided.
