The City of Piqua is pleased to
announce that it has been selected as one of The Dayton and
Springfield Top Workplaces.
The Top Workplaces are determined
based solely on employee feedback. The employee survey is
conducted by WorkplaceDynamics, LLP, a leading research firm on
organizational health and employee engagement. Workplace
Dynamics conducts regional Top Workplaces programs with more
than 30 major publishing partners and recognizes a National list
of Top Workplaces. Over the past year, more than 4,500
organizations, and 1 in every 100 employees in the United
States, have turned to WorkplaceDynamics to better understand
what's on the minds of their employees.
The City of Piqua employs 188
full-time employees working in 12 departments. City government
stresses and encourages a culture of employee involvement,
creativity and innovation which have resulted in both national
and state awards and recognitions. Some examples of the awards
and recognitions received since 2012 include Healthiest
Employer, Tree City USA, IEDC Silver Excellence Award in
Economic Development, Hermes Silver Addy, American Graphic
Design, Ohio EPA Watershed Protection, and GFOA Excellence in
Financial Reporting.
