| The Services Bureau is comprised
of the Investigative
Section and the Support
Services Section. The Services Bureau has the
additional functional responsibilities for administrative
staff functions and activities of the department. The Services
Bureau is under the command of the Deputy Chief/Services
Bureau Commander.
The Services Bureau includes
the following personnel:

The Deputy Chief/Services
Bureau Commander is the administrator and manager of the
Services Bureau and is responsible for the overall efficient
and effective management and administration of the Services
Bureau. The Deputy Chief/Services Bureau Commander is
responsible for the direction of all activities of the
Services Bureau, including all of the functional
responsibilities that include criminal investigations,
narcotics, vice, and organized crime investigations,
employment and background investigations, juvenile
investigations, internal affairs, parking enforcement and
abandoned/junk motor vehicles, records, criminal intelligence,
Accreditation, computer operations and technology development,
LEADS TAC, agency property, crime analysis, crime prevention
and community relations, administrative reports, surveys and
quality assurance surveys, agency workload analysis for
personnel allocation and distribution, forms review and
accountability, victim witness, grant writing and
administration, facility maintenance, evidence and property
control, tactical response, juvenile services - SRO Program,
and code /zoning enforcement liaison. This direction will be
accomplished through written and oral orders, policies,
procedures, directives, guidelines, and guidance, as well as,
personal leadership exerted through subordinate supervisors
and officers. |
| The Support
Services Section is a subcomponent of the Services
Bureau and provides the Police Department with administrative,
management, transcription, secretarial and clerical support
for the Office of the Chief, Patrol Bureau and the Services
Bureau. The Support Services Section consists of the Support
Services Section Commander/Lieutenant, a Police Secretary/Transcriptionist,
a Senior Records Clerk, a Records Clerk, a Public Service
Officer (Civilian/Non-Sworn Employee) and School Resource
Officers. |
