The Police Department provides for the
inspection of public record documents during normal business
hours.
The business hours of the Records Section are: |

Copies
of Public Records are provided as a service to the community.
Copies may be obtained on-line using E-Gov
or by filling out an E-Gov form at the Piqua Police Department.
Requests may be returned as e-mail, fax or hard copies at the
requestor's choice. Records requests will normally be filled in
7-10 days. |

The following fees apply to reproduction of records: |

| Photographs, Videotapes, Computer Media,
Etc., are provided with replacement of the media requested and
any commercial reproduction fees. |

| The Piqua Police Department meets legal
requests for inspection and/or reproduction of public records
maintained by the department. However, in accordance with
section 149.40 of the Ohio revised Code, the department is under
no obligation to create records or documents to meet a public
records request. A copy of the City Records policy and retention
schedule is available at the police department for inspection. |
