Deputy Chief Tom Christy is the Patrol Bureau Commander and has been with the department since 1980. He has served as a Police Cadet, Dispatcher, Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol Lieutenant, and a Tactical Team Member. He has completed the Police Executive Leadership College (PELC) sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Northwestern University Traffic Institute School of Police Staff and Command. He is also a graduate of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE) Program through the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and has an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Edison State Community College.
