| The Chief of Police is the Chief
Executive Officer (CEO) of the department and is responsible
for the overall efficient and effective management and
administration of the department.
Under the direction of the
Chief of Police, the Deputy Chief of Police is the second
highest-ranking official within the department. The Deputy
Chief of Police is the executive officer and serves in command
during the Chief's absence. The Deputy Chief of Police is
responsible for efficient and effective operations of the

| Chief Bruce A Jamison has been
with the department since 1986 and was promoted to Chief in
2008. He has served as a Patrol Officer, Investigator, Patrol
Lieutenant/Watch Commander, Deputy Chief in charge of Patrol
and Services and Hostage Negotiation Team Member and
Commander. He has completed the Police Executive Leadership
College (PELC) sponsored by the Ohio Association of Chiefs of
Police. Deputy Chief Jamison received a Bachelor's Degree in
Criminal Justice from the University of Dayton. He is also a
graduate of the Certified Law Enforcement Executive (CLEE)
Program through the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police. |

| Deputy Chief Tom Christy has

Cadet, Dispatcher, Patrol Officer, Patrol Sergeant, Patrol
Lieutenant, and a Tactical Team Member. He has completed the
Police Executive Leadership College (PELC) sponsored by the
Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Northwestern
University Traffic Institute School of Police Staff and
Command. He is also a graduate of the Certified Law
Enforcement Executive (CLEE) Program through the Ohio
Association of Chiefs of Police and has an Associates Degree
in Criminal Justice from Edison State Community College. |
