City of Piqua Volunteer Park Ranger
 

The City of Piqua Parks Department is now taking applications for its Volunteer Park Ranger Program. Volunteer Rangers will patrol the City Parks and Bike Path either by foot, their own bicycle, or the City Gator. They will document maintenance needs, report vandalism, and report to 911 any suspicious activity.

The City of Piqua is also looking for sponsors for the Volunteer Park Ranger Program. Your generous donation will help fund and support the program; which is totally manned by volunteers. Money received will help purchase hats and shirts, support first aid training, purchase first aid kits, and all such items as needed to sustain the program.

There is no minimum or maximum to donate; whatever you fill comfortable with giving will be greatly appreciated. Please fill out the form below, and please make sure there is a phone number, as an employee of the the Department of Public Works Parks Division will contact you to make arrangements to receive your contribution.

Volunteer Park Ranger Program Sponsorship Application
 
 
The City of Piqua Parks Department is responsible for the maintenance of the city parks, operation of the municipal swimming pool and golf course, administering recreation programs for the community and maintenance of 11.3 miles of walk/bike path. 
 
The department oversees 17 parks totaling 263 acres as well as provides maintenance to approximately 25 additional areas throughout the city.
 
In addition to the City of Piqua Parks, the Miami County Park District has more than 1,900 acres of natural areas throughout the county.  Click here for more information about the county park district.
