| The City of Piqua Parks and
Recreation Department is responsible for the maintenance of the
city parks, operation of the municipal swimming pool and golf
course, administering recreation programs for the community and maintenance
of 11.3 miles of walk/bike path. |

| The department offers recreation programs
for all ages including sports, cultural arts, fitness and
wellness, instructional courses, trips and special events.
the depart oversees 17 parks totaling 263 acres as well as
provides maintenance to approximately 25 additional areas throughout the
city. |
