| The City of Piqua Fire Department responds
to calls for many different types of services to the citizens of
Piqua and those visiting our community. All fire,
paramedic and ambulance services, fire inspections, and fire
safety education programs are provided at no charge to the
citizens we proudly serve.
The Fire Department is proud to carry out
its many and varied activities and services that make it the
finest fire, paramedic and rescue agency in the area. |

| In 2007, the Miami County
Emergency Notification System (MCENS) became fully
operational. In the event of a significant emergency, weather
event, or other catastrophe, citizens can be alerted by
telephone with information and instructions. However, the
telephone contact database used by the Miami
County 911 Communications Center is limited to publicly
published wireline numbers only. We are encouraging anyone
who would like to be included in the MCENS to click on the
“Emergency Notification Sign Up” link at the left, and enter
your contact information. Your emergency notification sign up
can include wireline telephones (traditional phone service),
VoIP phone service, and/or wireless devices (cell phones, PDA,
etc.); virtually any device as long as there is a ten digit
telephone number assigned to it. You are not limited to the
number of phone numbers you can enter for notification. If
you want to option out of being notified by MCENS, click the
"Opt Out" link to the left.
