The City of Piqua hosted a community meeting to share the results of the Raw Water Engineering Study on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the Lecture Hall at the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School.  The City initiated a Raw Water Engineering Study to evaluate the water quality conditions of Echo Lake, Franz Pond and the Hydraulic Canal. The City retained Hull & Associates, Inc., who conducted sampling work during the weeks of August 4 and August 11, 2008 and has reviewed the data collected as part of this study. This information, along with input received from local residents at the September 17, 2008 community meeting, was compiled into a specific report outlining the condition of the raw water supply and included recommendations for the City to consider.
