The Piqua INVOLVE (Interested
Neighbors Volunteering Valuable Energy) Program is an exciting
opportunity to allow residents to assist each other.
Through the Piqua INVOLVE Program, residents, businesses, civic
and fraternal groups, churches, schools and neighborhood
associations will be asked to volunteer for small projects
designed to help the community's most vulnerable citizens. The
Piqua INVOLVE Program will match skilled volunteers to work on
small projects, such as snow removal, leaf raking and minor home
repairs.
"When it comes down to it, we build strong communities by
building strong community bonds; when our neighbors help
neighbors, we can make a strong positive impact on our
community," said William Lutz, Development Program Manager,
who will be coordinating the project.
Residents can either sign up to be a volunteer or sign to up
