Mr. Oda called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and gave an overview of how the meeting will be conducted.

ITEM NO. 1: MEETING MINUTES

It was moved by Mr. Brad Bubp to accept the June 26, 2007 meeting minutes. Mr. Michael Foster second the motion. With all members present in favor, the motion carried.

OLD BUSINESS

Lorna Swisher reported she had no update on the status of the area between Unity National Bank and Paul's Bar. Board Members expressed frustration over the slow progress of Unity National Bank's mitigation of the problem.

NEW BUSINESS

ITEM NO. 2: RESOLUTION DRB 13-07
A resolution requesting a certificate of appropriateness to install a window sign at 317 N. Wayne Street.

Lorna Swisher gave the staff report. Mrs. Cheryl Stiefel-Francis with the Miami County Foundation has requested a vinyl sign on the window facing Wayne street. The sign will be the organization's logo made of printed and laminated contour cut vinyl and consist of three colors- black, white and pantone 452.

Mr. Bubp moved to approve Resolution DRB 13-07 with a second by Mr. Michael Foster. Role Call AYE: Mr. Mike Foster, Mrs. Ann DeBrosse Comer, Mr. Brad Bubp, and Mr. Jim Oda.

ITEM NO. 3: RESOLUTION DRB 14-07
A resolution requesting a certificate of appropriateness to install two window signs at 425 N. Main Street.

Lorna Swisher gave the staff report. Ms. Debbie Martin would like to install window signs on the Main Street façade of her building located at 425 N. Main Street. The sign will be made of printed and laminated contour cut vinyl that has been contour cut. At this time there are no plans for a primary sign above the awning so the window signs will be the only signage for the business. The signs are the appropriate size for window/secondary signs.

Mr. Foster moved to approve Resolution DRB 14-07 with a second by Mrs. DeBrosse Comer. Role Call AYE: Mrs. DeBrosse Comer, Mr. Michael Foster, Mr. Brad Bubp, and Mr. Jim Oda.

OTHER BUSINESS

There were no code violations to be brought before the Board.
