Support Policy |
| As activities, special events and programs
continue to grow in the City of Piqua, support provided by the
Parks Department has also grown. In order to
continue to meet the department’s goals as well as support
these functions, the department has implemented the following
policy for community support: |

| All requests for supporting community
events, programs and activities must be submitted in writing to
the Parks Department at a minimum of 3 (three)
weeks prior to the event. The request should include type of
support required i.e. picnic tables, benches, etc., location,
date(s) and time(s). |

| The policy applies to all civic groups
including the Board of Education, the Piqua Chamber of Commerce,
4th of July Association, Heritage Festival Committee,
Youth and Adult Sport Associations, Piqua Civic Band, Piqua Arts
Council, Mainstreet Piqua and Garden Clubs. |
